Jonah Greene has always had a knack for critical thinking and problem solving. From 4th grade Lego robotics challenges to repairing broken record players while attending engineering school, Jonah’s passion for learning and problem solving has evolved and grown to encompass the larger challenges facing humanity. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Jonah jumped at the opportunity to work with Dr. Jason Quinn at Colorado State University and perform critical research on renewable seaweed biofuel systems while earning his Master’s in ME. Upon graduation, Jonah accepted a Research Associate position to continue researching renewable energy solutions that address our increasing energy demands while mitigating greenhouse gas emissions. As the CTO of Sustainability Science, Jonah hopes to expand beyond the bubble of academia and work with a wide range of industry professionals to demonstrate the economic and environmental feasibility of sustainable solutions, so that they may attract the attention of the policy makers and companies whose decisions will determine our path forward. Aside from work, Jonah enjoys playing music, woodworking, and outdoor adventures.
